Designed for use by both serious professionals and amateurs, the TripaLite solves many of the most pressing needs for tabletop photography at a very reasonable price. Ultilizing three 30w Digalite CFT's, the TripaLite offers true 5600K daylight output that is incredibly even and diffused; there is no need to use softboxes, umbrellas, or other diffusion filters that kill output. Additonally, with high/low settings, you get more control over output (a feature unavailable with the majority of current constant light sources). And unlike traditional photofloods, the TripaLite runs extremely cool and will not bake your workspace.
        Most importantly, the lights are extremely cost effective. Because each DigaLite CFT has a rated life of up to 10,000 hours, even the most demanding user will not need to replace the bulbs for years, which can result in a savings of hundreds (or even thousands) of dollars compared to traditional photoflood bulbs.
